Mission Statement

The Registrars of Voters Association of Connecticut (ROVAC) is committed to:

  • Providing and managing free, impartial and democratic elections

  • Establishing and administering voter registration enrollment procedures

  • maintaining and managing accurate voter registration records.

ROVAC must create an environment for Election Administrators where ongoing training will lead to certification. 

ROVAC must promote the creation of a professional body of trained and properly compensated election officials.

ROVAC must increase the visibility and promote the usefulness of our organization to state and local officials, as well as to the communities in which we serve.
